Header & Button

Hey Everyone,

I've gotten several offers from contributors willing to make a header for the blog. THANK YOU! I made this temporary one so that we would have something unique in the meantime. I've also made a button that you can add to your blogs' sidebars. If you do have your own blog, please add the button so that we can spread the word about The Thrifty Garde Robe.

WooHoo! Just wanted to let you guys know that we're already up to 20 contributors. I'm so excited. The projects that are already on the site are so terrific. I can't wait to see more. I'm hoping to have a button that everyone can snag for their own sidebars soon. Please keep spreading the word about TTGR so our little community can keep growing.

Welcome

The Thrifty Garde Robe is now open for posting. The purpose of this site is to have a common place to share our clothes-making projects, inspire each other, and provide tips on how to update and add to our wardrobes without spending a lot of money.

I'm hoping that soon this blog will be filled with handmade projects, either sewn, knitted or crocheted. If this endeavor is successful I'll add a second blog for handmade, thrifty home goods. Please e-mail me (ninjaeema (at) aol (dot) com) if you would like to contribute your projects to The Thrifty Garde Robe. You can also upload your project pics to our Flickr pool, and follow us on Twitter (see the sidebar). We still need a button/avatar/logo, if anyone is handy with graphic design I'd love to see some ideas.
