I love making pants and shorts for Charlotte from old or worn pairs of pants. These shorts were all made from my old pairs of pants/jeans and some that were given to me by friends.

I also found some really cute fabric for summer tops. I wasn't sure which pattern I would use when I bought them, but I knew that they would look cute on Charlotte. I ended up using
Simplicity 3513, View B. It's a really easy to sew pattern and makes for a really comfy and cute basic top for summer.

Lastly is a top made from a vintage silk dress that I found in a thrift store a few months back. I wasn't sure what it would turn into, but I knew that I had to buy it.

I modified
McCall's 9369, View H. i was really worried about sewing with the silk because I'd never sewn with such a slippy fabric before. Walking foot to the rescue. It was so easy that I didn't even swear once.
