Jeans too small and the Garderobe!!

I couldnt pass up these Wrangler jeans at the market for 2 bux.....when i got home i tried them on, they fit great if i choose not to walk or sit.. WAH!!! so this is what I did

I cut a seam down the middle right through the waistband all the way down  to the hem

Found some black lace and sewed it to a strip of recycled denim,  the length of the jeans

While the seams were open I 'graffiti stitched" the legs

and now that ive added about 7cm 3inches i can move!!! and sit and jump!!!!

PJ Pants

I finished these a few weeks ago but have finely got a picture of youngest in them. The fabric came from a pair of PJ pants my sister gave me. For the pattern I just used an old pair of pants that fit well.

I haven't been sewing much this week, DH's B-day is tomorrow and I really have to finish the pair of socks I'm knitting him. I should have them tomorrow night...then I will have tons of stuff to post over here :)

These are my latest finished garments. Top made from remnants and curtain pants. Yes, I used draperies. They were sunfaded red. I dyed them purple and then made the pants.
